With that attitude in mind, 32 club members ventured over to the Laie Elementary School to serve their fellow men.  On Friday May 12, Laie Elementary School had their Annual Carnival Fundraiser.  It was then that Hong Kong Club had our first Spring Term activity. This service project was a great success.  Thanks to all those who attended.  It was a night of fun service.  Many of the members were in charge of different areas of the carnival.  We had many members who even wanted to join the festivity.  There was a bouncing area and a sliding area.  However, the most exacting activity was watching our members show their artistic talents as they beautify children¡¦s faces with colorful prints.  At the end of the evening, members helped clean up the school ground and we were done in no time.  Team work - that is what it is all about.  Members had a good time, Melanie said, ¡§ It was a fun evening and the kids were so cute.  We should continue to have service projects like this.¡¨ We missed all those who couldn¡¦t make it this time.  We hope to see you at our next activity.  Once again, thanks to all those we came out.   Hope the term is going well for everyone.
